Why are you interested in joining Merciless: The opposite reason I've left other guilds; the progression, and hopefully some fun people to actually talk to.
What do you think you will gain from joining Merciless: Experience, better gear, and hopefully some new friends.
What do you think Merciless will gain from you joining: Another Shadow Priest. And, uh, another serious raider, and someone fun to talk to.
Do you consider yourself guild oriented and why: Yes, I work very well with a team and know how to listen to directions.

List the start time and end time of your raid availability: I'm on pretty much all day, so as long as I'm given notice I can join at any time. (I can even give XFire/AIM names if I'm needed)
Two people win the roll for the same piece of loot. Player A wins, but Player B will get a larger upgrade from the loot. Who do you think should get the item and why: As long as both players are getting an upgrade from the loot, player A should get the loot because he won it. Now, if Player A just wants to DE/sell the loot, then Player B should get it since he needs it more. So, yeah, as long as both players gain an upgrade from it the winner should get it.
