I was in Iron Serpents for a very long time. The guild eventually split a few times and lost it's gusto. My most recent guild was Yippie Ki Yay. Guild wasn't really progressing and I got sick of it.

Why are you interested in joining Merciless:
I'm interested in joining Merciless because this guild seems well organized with skilled players. I would like to see more content as well.

What do you think you will gain from joining Merciless:
A good group to raid with. Progression to see more end game content.

What do you think Merciless will gain from you joining:
A good shadow priest who is a long time experienced raider.

Do you consider yourself guild oriented? Why?:
I'm always down for some BGs! And I have 3 80s so I'm always looking for something to do haha. Love to hang out in vent.

Pre-BC: Zg, MC, BWL, AQ 20/40, and Naxx BC: Kara, SSC, TK, Hyjal, BT. WOTLK: Naxx, Ulduar, ToC. As for ICC, I have done first wing, Rotface, Festergut and Dreamwalker.

I'll say a 10.

Do you use your keyboard to turn? Do you use your mouse to click on your spells?
For my keyboard movement I only use W to go forward and strafe with Q and E. As for using my mouse to click spells, I have all my main spells I use a lot Macro'd. I only click spells I use maybe a couple times a fight.

Do you research your class? If so, how, and what resources do you use?
Yes I research my class by reading the EJ forums, and checking out high end raider's gear and specs on armory.

I have all of that. They are all essential for raiding.

Weekdays are free for me at night. Weekends I might be able to make it, but I usually have plans for the weekend.

Two people win the roll for the same piece of loot. Player A wins, but Player B will get a larger upgrade from the loot. Who do you think should get the item and why:
Player B should get the loot. If it will improve Player B's performance then the guild should progress better.

You withdrew your application last time, I don't remember why. Do you?

And yes I did withdraw my application a long time ago. I had applied here and the next day a bunch of friends from Iron Serpents convinced me to join them.

Why are you using Greater Spellpower on your staff vs. Black Magic?


Other questions:

Why don't you have improved Vamp. Embrace? Instead you have 3 points in the reduced mana cost of some spells.

You're a shadow priest, why are you using a glyph that returns 1% of mana back to you?

I heard from others that SP to a staff is better than Black magic. Was waiting to get a MH weapon and OH to use Black magic.
I understand the Imp VE issue, and your right about it. 3 points in Focused Mind is a bit of a waste since i have so many ways to get mana back.
As for the glyph rofl...I honestly don't know why I had that there. But it's fixed.
I'm always open to suggestions. I guess mr. 10 can be bumped down a notch.

81 sp > Black Magic, but Black Magic > 81 sp

glyphs though i would run with dispersion over shadow word pain, just because its a mana return PLUS it allows you to save yourself or reduce damage upon yourself in situations like pugent blight, bone storm, blood beast eating your face.

I heard that the DPS for black magic and Spell power is around the same, so I would guess it goes to user preference.
