If you're reading this, then congratulations on following instructions. Here, I will tell you a little about the guild, and then you can tell us a little about yourself and why you want to join Merciless.

Merciless is a close-knit raiding guild that currently raids three nights a week. We are like one big family, you get along with all of us, or you get along with none of us. Period. We do NOT tolerate any kind of drama, disrespect, or racial remarks/comments, from or to anyone in this guild and outside of it. We expect all applicants and guild members to abide by these rules. Anyone applying should be able to make at minimum, two of the three scheduled nights of raiding per week. We are a progression guild that looks forward to encounters and raids, and do not argue about loot.

NOTE: You DO NOT need to register to post an application. You can simply do it as a guest. I have had plenty of reports of a registration confirmation e-mail never being sent. If you are trying to register anyway, and you don't get the e-mail within 24 hours, you will have to try another e-mail address as sometimes the registration e-mail gets filtered in spam and never makes it. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Below is a template, please copy it, and make a NEW TOPIC/THREAD in this forum. The title of the post should be your character name, level, and class. I expect all of these questions to be answered in a serious manner. The more detailed the answer, the better. If you answer questions with one word answers, we will most likely disregard your application. The first impression is the best.

Why are you interested in joining Merciless: I would like to progress with mature (though that word can be misconstrued), players throughout ICC and it would just be fun to be in a guild that, as you put it, tolerates no drama.

Two people win the roll for the same piece of loot. Player A wins, but Player B will get a larger upgrade from the loot. Who do you think should get the item and why: It depends who is the core raider and is there alll the time vs just that one raid, amirite? I mean, why gear people out that arent gonna be there most of the time? If they were BOTH there most of the time, then obviously player A. A fair roll is a fair roll. It's up to player A to pass or KEEP.

I think ash would want a bit more details/seriousness on these...

1) it's a game -- being too serious about it can prove... bad IRL -- being chill was what attracted me to merc (and of course sexy laidycane and later ash's voice lmao)
2) he answered the questions (though the "Satisfaction... in bed or not" one could be redone, imho i don't see a problem with the other answers)
3) instead of using fancy font changes to come off in a bad way you could just say "No thank you" or ask for more info

people have likened these apps to job interviews, as such both the applicant and the employer should have a level of professionalism, not just the applicant

4) im still lol'ing at nazall's comment

You can host an image of your screenshot online using the one these forums supply you with, should be no reason to not have one.

I'd also suggest loggin out in your PvE gear so we can see it on the armory

Why aren't you using Grid?

You must be using a 15 inch monitor with 800x600 resolution.

What's your average FPS? What's your monitor resolution?

I dont use grid cause i use xperl, it gets the job done though
I use a 20 inch monitor thats 1280x1024 not a 15 monitor with 800x600
As for my fps average, its about 50 (i think, i dont check my fps because i dont lag) not to leet but i dont lag

WHat's your ingame resolution? Because I'm pretty sure that screen is not 1280x1024 lol but I may be wrong.

Seems like the UI is just boosted up a bunch.

IN game resolution is 1024x768

Any reason why it's not 1280 to match your monitor? You said you don't have performance issues, the larger in game resolution will help you see more.

I still haven't seen your PVE gear.

It's just preference. I've logged out of my pve gear for the last 2 days now, im not sure if wow armory is acting up. I can log onto wow and just show you. I pstd you yesterday while you were online and you didnt respond. Ill try again today.
