Thàelynn - 80 Holy Priest

Post  Thàelynn on Fri Oct 23, 2009 5:24 am

Character Name: Thàelynn (à is alt 0224, someone had my name when I sevrer transfered so I appologize for the funky a)

Your Age: 27

Class: Priest

Level: 80

Talent Spec: 13/58 holy off is Disc pvp what varies but can go PvE Disc as needed

Armory Link: The armory and forums are both offline, but I will post the link tomorrow as soon as I get home from work.

Professions: Alch and Herb maxed out, cooking is maxed as well.

Current Guild: Asylum. Its a small guild, just the three of us right now (Aspar, Triley and Myself).

Previous Guild/s & Reason/s for leaving: Forthright-Sisters of Elune. I left Forthright becasue of the way they treated people both in and out of raids. I enjoy a raiding, and want to be in a progression oriented guild but have very little tolerance for people who treat others with respect. People losing thier tempers from time to time in a raid is going to happen, people need to do thier best and certain expectations need to be met, but I can't deal with the (50 minus DKP!) raid leaders 3 days a week anymore.

Aspiration on Sisters of Elune, guild feel apart due to various RL and in game issue.

Justice Inc on Earthen Ring, my original raiding guild. The server at the time was over populated raid wise and the guild transfered to Sisters of Elune and became Aspiration to persue a new raiding pool.

Why are you interested in joining Merciless: I like the attitude of the guild over all, and the fact they want to progress but on a 3 night a week basis. I have spoke with several members and officers and have been highly impressed with thier attitudes and hoensty. I also greatly enjoyed the raid I had with you all earlier this evening.

What do you think you will gain from joining Merciless: Hopefully a permanent home to experience the new content with, and a good group of people to raid with!

What do you think Merciless will gain from you joining: An experienced healer one that learns quickly, and is always willing to be part of the team and come with a "get it done and lets have fun" attitude.

Do you consider yourself guild oriented and why: I am, and I hate to admit it because it makes enjoying this game much harder than if you could be happy soloing or with a small group of friends. I have spent the last month with a small group pugging here and there, and I miss the team work and cohesion from a larger guild, not to mention the resources of information about the game and content. I am also far to social and will eventually drive Aspar and Triley crazy with it if we cant find a 25 man guild :-p

Rank these in Order (Loot, Progression, Helping Others, Self, Friends): Progression, Helping others, friends, self, loot.

Pre-BC/BC/Wrath Raiding Experiences: Im a BC baby, started the game a week before BC launched, so I have raided all content in BC up to council in BT as a healer, and the Vanilla stuff while I was 70. In Wrath I have cleared all current content in 25 on normal, several hardmodes in ulduar: hearbreaker, lose your illusion, etc. 10 man I have seen up to FC in ToC on hardmode, and several more HM's in Ulduar.

On a scale of 1-10 how well do you know your class/spec (Be Honest):7.5-8. I am constantly looking for more information on my class and to keep myself raid viable. I don't know shadow that well but do try to keep up with the current information on it.

Do you currently know anyone in Merciless: I met Ashuos the day we transfered last night, and met many of your raiders tonight, but I can't say I know anyone well.

Do you have Ventrilo / DeadlyBossMods / Omen: yes, yes and yes

List the start time and end time of your raid availability: Tuesday -Thursday 7 pm est to 12:00am est, Sunday 6pm est to 12:00 est, though I MAY miss the occasional Sunday or be late when family things come up, but thats rare. Other times will vary based on work and school.

Two people win the roll for the same piece of loot. Player A wins, but Player B will get a larger upgrade from the loot. Who do you think should get the item and why: Thats a sticky situation I say player B, but it depends for me on if player B has shown up as much and put in the same amount of effort as Player A has, and if they are going to be able to be a consistant part of the raid team.

Thank you for your cooperation.
