Aspár - 80 Feral druid

Post  Aspár on Fri Oct 23, 2009 6:51 pm

Your Age: 27

Class: Druid

Level: 80

Talent Spec: 0/60/11 Tank. Current dps spec/glpyhs are set up for arena, but I change it to the typical dps spec and glyphs for progression raiding.

Armory Link: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Emerald+Dream&n=Asp%C3%A1r

Professions: JC/Alch - 450

Current Guild: Asylum. Small friends guild. (only Thaelynn, Triley and myself)

Previous Guild/s & Reason/s for leaving:
Forthright (Sisters of Elune) - A good group of raiders, but too egotistical for my liking. They had a terrible tendancy of treating people more like commodities than humans and I, frankly, felt slimey being around that.

Aspiration (Sisters of Elune) - The world turned against this guild. From people being burnt out, to people taking advantage of it, to real life intervening - everything was against this guild.

Justice Inc (Earthen Ring) - The guild that welcomed me back to the game after I took a six/seven month hiatus during BC. Ended up falling apart because of internal conflicts. Guild transferred to become Aspiration on Sisters of Elune.

Warcry (Earthen Ring) - Raided the old 40 man content with these guys. They eventually fell apart recently for reasons unknown to me, but long after I'd departed. I joined and left this guild several times in vanilla because, at the time, I wasn't sure what I wanted from the game.

Why are you interested in joining Merciless:
I miss progression, especially when I actually enjoy it in the process. After the raid with you guys last night and seeing how chill and easy-going your members are (while still preforming well), I'm pretty confident I would enjoy it here.

What do you think you will gain from joining Merciless:
A quality raid environment where I can appreciate the current content, as well as the upcoming content.

What do you think Merciless will gain from you joining:
A[nother] dependable feral tank/dps druid. I show up to every raid prepared and on time, with a good attitude, ready to kill bosses and pilfer their belongings.

Do you consider yourself guild oriented and why:
I do. This is a teamsport, so being any other way is a waste of your's and the team's time.

Rank these in Order (Loot, Progression, Helping Others, Self, Friends):
Progression, Friends, Helping Others, Self, Loot.

Pre-BC/BC/Wrath Raiding Experiences:
Raided everything in vanilla up to Naxx 40. Raided Kara and ZA in BC (took a lot of time off during this expansion). Have seen all the normal content of Wrath thus far, and done a few hardmodes in Uld25. Cleared up to FC in ToC 10 and have done many more hardmodes in Uld 10.

On a scale of 1-10 how well do you know your class/spec (Be Honest):
7. I'm no math wiz, tbh, but I learn by the seat of my pants. I read Elitist Jerks at least a couple times per patch to make sure nothing major has changed/is changing in regards to our gemming/gearing/speccing, but sometimes finding what you're looking for on those forums is not so easy. In times like these, however, I fall back to fellow druid peers to ensure I understand what's going down.

Do you currently know anyone in Merciless:
Met Ashuos within my first few moments on the server, and chatted with a couple of your members last night during the raid. But, I don't really have any close associations.

Do you have Ventrilo / DeadlyBossMods / Omen:
But of course.

List the start time and end time of your raid availability:
Whenever to whenever. Pretty free on the schedule atm, so I have a lot of play time.

Two people win the roll for the same piece of loot. Player A wins, but Player B will get a larger upgrade from the loot. Who do you think should get the item and why:
Player B. The better geared the majority of your raiders are, the better chances you have for future success. However, there are always other things to take into account such as attendance, player ability, class type/role, etc.
